Overview

Spider (formerly known as String) is a Legendary, Natural-type Blox Fruit that lets the user control and manipulate string/web-like attacks. The fruit gives you spider-themed movement (swinging) and a kit of web/string abilities that can trap, stun, and deal heavy damage. Its awakened form is especially notable in PvP for large hitboxes, powerful stuns, and strong burst combos, but it requires good aim and practice to reach its full potential. Awakening grants the in-game title "The Spider" (#036) after awakening at least one move.

How to Obtain

- Spawns / Shop: Spider is a Blox Fruit Dealer spawn/buyable fruit (check the in-game dealer for spawn times and availability). - Trading: Most common way to get Spider is trading with other players. - Awakening: Awakening Spider requires completing its awakening requirements/raid (the raid is moderately hard for low-level players) and paying the in-game awakening cost — check in-game for exact costs and steps.

Combat & Abilities

Unawakened Spider grants: - Swinging mobility and string-based attacks: slashes with sharp strings, summoning spiky silk, throwing fiery strings for damage and crowd-control. - It’s a held type fruit (some moves are held), with a small delay on certain moves and some immobility during animations. Awakened Spider: - Excels in PvP: powerful stuns, high burst damage, large AoE/hitboxes and multi-target moves. Awakening also improves mobility. - Two awakened moves noted for heavy screen distortion are [C] Eternal White and [V] Heavenly Punishment — if you find screen-shake or FoV effects distracting, disabling screen-shake helps performance. - Grinding: Unawakened Spider is not ideal for grinding due to lack of Elemental Reflex and difficulty landing hits. Awakened Spider becomes decent for grinding because most awakened moves are multi-target with large hitboxes. Key drawbacks: - Requires good aim, can be weak for sustained damage if you can’t reliably land the V move used in combos. - Some moves leave you immobile or can be canceled by damage; range and cooldowns require energy management. - Range/speed scaling quirks: certain mobility scales with your HP, making it weaker when you’ve already taken damage.
