The Dragon Token is a Limited‑rarity token introduced after Update 24 when the Dragon Fruit was reworked. It was created as compensation for players who owned physical Dragon Fruits that were affected by the rework — those old physical Dragon Fruits (both stored and equipped) were automatically converted into Dragon Tokens. The token is a special event/compensation item tied to the Dragon Fruit changes and has unique redemption behavior.
- Originally: Automatically granted to players who previously owned a physical Dragon Fruit when the fruit was reworked (each physical Dragon Fruit previously owned became one Dragon Token). - After rework: Players who received the token were also granted either the Eastern or Western version of the new Dragon Fruit for free (as part of the Dec 17, 2024 hotfix). - Since January 7, 2025, Dragon Tokens are tradable — the only current way for players who did not receive one during the conversion to obtain a Dragon Token is via player-to-player trades. There are no official shop spawns or event drops listed in the official reference.
The Dragon Token itself has no combat use — it is a redemption item. When redeemed it grants a fruit, so combat value depends entirely on the fruit you receive. Important historical mechanics to know: - Pre‑patch (before Dec 17, 2024): Each token would grant a random fruit excluding Dragon. - Post‑patch (after Dec 17, 2024): Redeeming a Dragon Token grants one of the following fruits at equal chance: Shadow, Dough, Venom, Gas, Tiger, Yeti, Kitsune, or Dragon. Because the outcome is random, token value in PvP/grinding is indirect — the resulting fruit determines usefulness (for example, getting Dragon or certain Mythical fruits can be very strong for PvP and grinding).
- Current trade value: 0 - Demand: 4/10 - Trend: Rising - Market notes: - Although currently priced at 0 (indicating low market currency value), demand is modest and trending upward since the token became tradable. Part of the appeal is the chance to obtain a Dragon or other high‑tier fruits. - Important: When traded to another player, the token is automatically redeemed upon receipt. You cannot transfer an inert token — trading effectively gives the recipient one of the eight possible fruits immediately. - What you can get for it: expect low offers currently; many traders treat it as a gamble item rather than a high‑tier guaranteed fruit. Offers will reflect the perceived chance to pull a desirable fruit.
- If you own a Dragon Token and prefer a guaranteed outcome, do not trade it away — redeem it yourself when you're prepared to gamble on the eight‑fruit pool. - If you’re buying: treat the token as a lottery. Only pay what you’re comfortable losing, because you could receive any of the eight listed fruits. - Keep an eye on market trends: as awareness or demand for specific fruits shifts, token value may rise (the listed trend is currently rising). - Remember the Dec 17, 2024 change: previous Dragon owners received free Eastern/Western Dragon variants in addition to retaining their tokens — that history affects supply and collector interest.
