Blade (formerly known as Chop) is a Natural-type, Common-rarity Blox Fruit. It gives the user razor-sharp blades attached to their limbs that can parry incoming sword attacks (even those with Aura) and perform fast blade-based slashes and AoE strikes. Blade is widely regarded as a complete counter to sword mains in PvP and is a strong beginner-friendly fruit for First Sea grinding due to its ranged M1s, stuns, mobility, and low cost/availability.
- Available from the Blox Fruit Dealer (common rarity / high stock chance). - Tradable between players on the market. Because Blade is Common and has a high dealer stock chance, new players can usually buy or trade for it easily.
Key mechanics and combat traits: - Sword immunity / parry: Blade lets you parry and be immune to sword-based attacks, including Aura-imbued sword strikes. This applies versus other players with no level requirement; for NPCs it functions similarly if the user is ~105%–106% of the NPC’s level. Exception: Bosses and Raid Bosses are not affected. - Ranged M1s: Blade’s primary attacks are ranged, similar to T-Rex, Gas, Kitsune, and Dragon M1s, but they do not dash—giving stable horizontal movement. Note: using an M1 while in the air will freeze vertical movement. - Stuns & combo utility: Many Blade moves have long stuns, fast cast times, and are hard to Instinct-trick, making Blade excellent for initiating and extending combos in PvP. - Mobility & flight: Some Blade moves let you rotate a single blade to briefly achieve flight or change direction mid-flight. - AoE & crowd control: Blade provides large AoE attacks and multi-target damage useful for Raids, Sea Events, and grinding. - Strengths: great vs sword users (Portal, Ice, Buddha mains), good mobility, high stun, useful for crowd control. - Weaknesses: smaller optimal range than some fruits, limited vertical aiming (attacking downward causes you to float and miss; attacking upward is difficult), and lower damage scaling in later seas.
- Current trade value: 50K. - Demand: 1/10 (very low). - Trend: Stable. Because Blade is Common with low demand, it’s not a high-value trade piece. At 50K, it’s best used or traded for other Common fruits or combined with other low-value items in bulk trades. If you don’t need a sword counter or a beginner grinding fruit, you’ll generally get modest returns—keep expectations conservative when negotiating.
- Use Blade as a counter-pick vs sword mains—parry and punish sword players aggressively. - Avoid firing M1s while airborne unless you want to freeze vertical movement. Use ground M1s for consistent horizontal mobility. - Leverage fast-casting stunned moves to set up combos and peel for teammates in Raids/Sea Events. - Don’t rely on Blade against Bosses/Raid Bosses for sword immunity—use it for crowd control and normal NPC grinding instead. - Because of its common availability and low trade value, Blade is a great keeper for newer accounts learning PvP and First Sea progression.
